    This is a social group for families who are currently unschooling or homeschooling in a relaxed way and moving toward unschooling.It is understood that each family is at a different point in their journey. Not everyone in this group will be a radical unschooler; some may be relaxed homeschoolers interested in unschooling but struggling with concerns about math or some other bugaboo. What we all share is an active desire to move toward unschooling--to eliminate required subjects, assignments, and tests, and replace those with a stimulating, enriched environment and lots of parental support for kids in pursuing their interests and passions.

We are a homeschooling community group consisting of approximately 90 families from the Central Arkansas area. There are no committee positions to fill, programs to administer, or weekly dues to pay.

    Our group is not a political one. We celebrate, embrace and advocate free thinking for all. Therefore, we will provide a conduit for information about homeschooling issues and information important to all Arkansas homeschoolers, but we won't tell you how to think about it. No one can claim to represent our group in any form of political process.
